Zatrzymany do kontroli z ruchu zestaw będący w dyspozycji białoruskiego przedsiębiorstwa stanowił realne zagrożenie na drodze. W wyniku oględzin naczepy ujawniono usterkę z kategorii niebezpiecznych, tzn. stwarzających bezpośrednie zagrożenie bezpieczeństwa w ruchu.
W czwartkowe popołudnie w Wasilkowie na drodze krajowej nr 19 prowadzącej do granicy państwa z Białorusią funkcjonariusze WITD w Białymstoku poddali kontroli zatrzymany z ruchu 40-tonowy zestaw. W toku czynności ustalono, iż wykonywany jest międzynarodowy przewóz drogowy przeszło 20 ton tekstyliów z Czech na Białoruś.
Podczas kontroli stwierdzono na drugiej osi naczepy pęknięcie tarczy hamulcowej dyskwalifikujące ten element z dalszego użytkowania. Usterkę zakwalifikowano jako niebezpieczną, zakazano dalszej jazdy do czasu usunięcia nieprawidłowości oraz zatrzymano dowód rejestracyjny uszkodzonego środka transportu.

Kierujący w trakcie trwania kontroli wezwał mobilny serwis i niezwłocznie rozpoczął naprawę. Wszczęto postępowanie administracyjne wobec podmiotu będącego właścicielem naczepy na kwotę 2000 zł. Kaucja na poczet przyszłej kary została opłacona na miejscu kontroli - czytamy na stronie witd.bialystok.gov.pl.
