Burmistrz Michałowa Włodzimierz Konończuk, burmistrz Zabłudowa Adam Tomanek i wójt Gródka Wiesław Kulesza w obecności wicemarszałka województwa podlaskiego Macieja Żywno i starosty powiatu białostockiego Antoniego Pełkowskiego podpisali dziś w Michałowie list intencyjny dotyczący współpracy samorządów w dziedzinie energetyki odnawialnej.
- Doświadczenia z regionu pokazują, że tylko przy silnej reprezentacji, gdy kilka gmin współpracuje razem, jest szansa na lepsze pomysły, na lepsze rozwiązania, by jak najwięcej działań z OZE trafiało do mieszkańców - powiedział Maciej Żywno. - Na poziomie powiatu nie mamy takich podmiotów, które odpowiadałyby za rozwój energetyczny. Łączymy siły gmin, a powiat wydaje się dobrym patronem tego przedsięwzięcia. Chcielibyśmy, by w całym województwie takim patronem nad rozwojem energetycznym stały się powiaty.
Antoni Pełkowski stwierdził, że widzi rolę powiatu jako mentora oraz że klaster będzie się rozwijał i przystąpią do niego wszystkie gminy z powiatu białostockiego. Wicemarszałek przypomniał, że w Regionalnym Programie Operacyjnym Województwa Podlaskiego na lata 2014-2020 jest 760 mln zł na działania związane z energetyką, w tym OZE.
Włodarze samorządowi podpisali list intencyjny dotyczący szerokiej współpracy na różnych poziomach. Klaster energii ma być jednym z narzędzi tej współpracy. Uczestnicy spotkania zwiedzili też funkcjonującą w Michałowie biogazownię.
